Summary
“I’m yours,” Evelyn says next, almost bashfully, hands balling into fists but unmoving beneath Cassandra’s fingers. Her body surges up and forward a bit, pressing back into Cassandra’s unyielding stance.
“I surrender,” she whispers, and then all the tension leaves her completely.
It does something very unexpected and new to Cassandra, having the most powerful woman in all of Thedas at her mercy.
[Or alternatively: in which the Inquisitor feels anxious and insecure, and Cassandra fights her over it.]

Josephine rolls her eyes and gently pushes Victoria’s arm away. “Would it delight you if I was?”
“Of course not,” the Inquisitor answers honestly, still smiling. “Although it does humor me.”
“My agony humors you, Inquisitor?” Teasing shrouded by seriousness, Josephine knows this to be untrue but wants to poke and prod anyway. It makes her feel better. It makes her heart slow.
“You know it doesn’t, ambassador. I think it’s sweet that you want me all to yourself. As though I am not already yours.”
Josephine cocks her head to the side, stepping towards Victoria and invading her space with a leonine smirk. “You are, aren’t you?”
or: josephine is jealous of morrigan. she wants the inquisitor all to herself. what better way to lay her claim than fucking on the throne.
