Summary
Soulmate marks are faint. These marks are an impression of a soulmate’s hand lines and fingerprints. These are curious markings that only some seem to have. It is suggested that chaos has its hand in those sentient beings with these intricate markings.
Although rare, it is not entirely unheard of that someone may have multiple soulmates. For Witchers who live entirely too long of lives, it might come as no surprise that eventually, Geralt and Eskel both found a new pattern of curls and grooves growing on their skin. Lambert’s seventeenth year brought the beginnings of a third set of whirls on each man’s body.
Those that Melitele blessed and specifically those that were never meant to be more than what they were born as, frightened humanity. For nobility to be blessed with Fate’s mark was not necessarily a sign of misfortune, but rather the potentiality that a Noble house would grow in strength because of its proximity to Chaos. However, three separate displays of Melitele’s touch tested the bounds of just how close to Chaos nobility wanted to be. Jaskier was lucky and unlucky in this respect.

Summary
Jaskier's time in the world of witchers has come to an end.
And as he journeys through the continent, the things he sees are monstrous. Gone is the time of adventure and tales of mighty deeds.

Jaskier delves deep into the ancestral world of the elves, where ancient tales may be the answer to many prayers. There, the bard finds a storyteller and restless spirits. As willing or not as they are to help, they may lead him to find the answers to end the ancient evils they face.
Meanwhile, in a tangled web of events, the witchers of the School of the Wolf stumble upon a crossroads. There a princess and a sorceress await, where they see the world around them crumble. The search for Jaskier begins amidst a war no one is sure how it will turn out. But, the answers they seek may lie in the past and the future they're too afraid to acknowledge.
But one thing is clear: their bard stands in the middle of it all.
And perhaps the only thing that will decide their odds is their willingness to open their hearts and see beyond the path.

Jaskier was not nervous before a performance, he was too experienced for that, but given that this was probably the most important performance of his entire life he thought he was entitled to a little tolerance.
Of course, his Witcher bodyguard disagreed and complained about the smell of his fear and anxiety, whatever that meant, but he had very quickly stopped listening to him, especially when they had crossed the borders of Cintra.
They each had a single task to accomplish – him charming and entertaining everyone, this Aiden killing someone who was most likely King Geralt – and neither of those goals required them to like each other.
He was in no way overwhelmed by events.
