(This is a spin off of my other story Red's Descent. For full context of a few of these scenes, you should probably read that one first. This is not a complete rewrite. While I did rewrite some scenes from Chloe's perspective, most are new or continuations from the first story.)

She can’t let herself get close- can’t let herself care- yet her stubborn roommate really makes that difficult, even knowing that giving in means off with someone’s head. Probably Chloe’s.
