One day, Kaveh will move out of this house.
One day, the rash daggers they yelled at each other would soon be replaced by the quiet of lead against paper. A kettle would be boiling atop the stove, vapour wheezing out of the spout, and Kaveh will be perched atop a couch all alone. He won’t have to worry about Alhaitham’s long legs taking up the entire divan, nor will he have to be interrupted by Alhaitham's quip remarks over whether he's done the laundry or not.
