Summary
Remus suffers with type 1 bipolar disorder and works an unstable job as a pizza delivery driver.
His ex boyfriend of five years, Sirius, is a tattoo artist who's deep into the world of witchcraft.
All would be well if they had their own living spaces, but with the price of rent, they have no choice but to live in the same apartment that they broke up in.
To make matters worse; they still long for each other, and things start to get very strange for Remus the longer he's around Sirius. Very, very, VERY strange.
Secrets are uncovered, friendships are made and broken, and Remus really needs to see a therapist.
Warning: I tried to use as many tags as I could, but I'm terrible at tagging. Remus and Sirius have a toxic relationship with each other, and this fic covers a lot of unpleasant topics: suicidal thoughts, emotional and physical abuse, and dark fantasies. There's also strong language that may offend some, so please keep that in mind before jumping in to read.

"I'm home!"
Remus looked up instinctively.
Harry stood in the doorway with windblown hair, grass stains on one knee of his jeans and a paper bag tucked beneath one arm, his glasses slightly crooked and his face flushed from the summer heat in that wonderfully familiar way that always suggested he had either been running, climbing something he absolutely should not have climbed, or both.
His brow furrowed. "Something strange happened on my way home."
Remus felt his stomach tighten.
"What happened?"
"I saw this really big dog."
"A dog?"
Harry nodded.
"Yeah. Huge. Black. Really skinny..." He frowned thoughtfully before looking back up at Remus. "It was just sitting across the street watching me."
The room seemed to grow noticeably colder.
"It disappeared when I got closer." Harry shrugged. "Weird thing is..." He smiled slightly, completely unaware of the colour draining from Remus's face.
"It looked just like your Patronus."
The mug slipped from Remus's hand.

When James Potter inherits his father’s game reserve in South Africa and spends a few months there learning the ropes of the business, of course Sirius has to follow him. He owes it to him to support him while he navigates his grief and the overwhelming task of managing a game and nature reserve bigger than some small countries. But in Africa, Sirius finds more than just a way to give back to his best mate until they make their way back home to Britain.
