“What if…” Driver’s voice is tentative, cautious. Lars holds his breath. “What if you touched yourself? Would that feel okay?”
“I want to be with you,” Lars says. It may come out closer to a whine. He feels desperate, the tightening from earlier subsiding into an annoying buzz under his skin that won’t leave.
“I could stay,” Driver offers shyly.
Lars struggles to reconcile what he wants with how he feels. Driver helps.

Elrond goes cold. “Please,” he says. “I do not know what you want but I can help. Just don’t hurt her. Please.” He cannot bear the thought of losing Tara so soon. Even ten years would not be enough, but to cut their time even shorter seems immeasurably cruel.
On one of his journeys, Elrond and his dog discover a hidden village where he is confronted with painful memories.

Summary
Jackson observed him for a long moment. Holland was always so effortlessly, casually handsome, as long as he kept his mouth mostly shut. It was something that helped them get clients, Jackson knew, and Holland knew that as well, since he ensured to make use of his lucky genes by also dressing the part.
But in that moment all of that was gone; the cocky smirks, the flashy suits, the carefully maintained hairstyle— Just gone, leaving behind a man who had worn the same creased shirt two days in a row, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and a coffee stain on the limp collar… A tired, haunted man.
“What is it really about, then?” Jackson asked. He had the inkling whatever truly hid behind the wishy-washy idea of building a new house on that now empty plot of land, perhaps Holland really needed to talk about it.
But Holland only chuckled, raw and hollow. “You wouldn’t believe me.”

Six's voice is soft but firm, and K obeys. What he finds is a gaze so stormy and intense, whirling with emotions such that it penetrates whatever K has in place of a soul. That gaze breaks through the walls of the dark room inside where the core of him resides and bathes K in blinding, searing light, rendering him painfully, mortifyingly known.

Summary
"Julian doesn't talk much. Usually somewhere between unwilling and unable, but he seems especially unwilling-or-unable to talk about this. Any of it. The violence or the way he begs for approval or the way his mother looks at him sometimes. The jokes and comments his brother makes. Maybe he just doesn't know how, because sometimes it does seem to weigh on him — Driver can almost feel the weight of words trapped in Julian's throat sometimes, see him struggling between throwing them up or swallowing them, when he's sat silent in the back of Driver's car like a ghost in the rearview mirror.
He and Driver are alike in that way. Amongst others."Julian's wandering around dissociated after another visit from his mother. Driver finds him.
