Summary
“Coach Ilya, my skate is untied,” Scarlet says, pointing to her feet.
Ilya glides in front of Scarlet and fixes up her laces. He does a quick scan of the other skates, just to make sure no one else might trip on the way back to the bench. Once satisfied, he returns his attention to the group, kneeling to meet them at eye level.
“Who’s ready to play?” Ilya asks, and the girls shout back, their voices overlapping.

Shane comes to one of his daughter’s hockey games, with Ilya as her coach.

Summary
With Eleanor on Ilya’s shoulders, he skates over to Shane. “Delivery,” he says, removing Eleanor from his shoulders and placing her on the boards. Her skates clack against the plastic. “One little girl for you.”
Shane leans forward and kisses her on the cheek. “You are such a good skater,” he says, unclipping her helmet and brushing her hair off of her forehead. “You’re better than Papa is.”
“Better than Daddy, too,” Ilya says with a smirk

But Malevola isn’t lying there anymore. Robert blinks rapidly, bringing his eyes as close as he can to the computer. It’s not Mal. No, it’s Robert’s father. He’s not wearing the suit. He has no power. He looks exactly like he did the last time Robert saw him alive.
And standing above him, black cloak and all, is Shroud.
