Summary

Katsuki sagged, letting out the breath he'd been holding in. "Yeah, whatever. Later nerd." He didn't wait for a reply, pressing the button to end the call immediately.
"That went well, right? He sounds normal."
Katsuki leveled a very serious look at the other hero, voice grave. "Kirishima, that wasn't Deku."

Izuku has taken part in a dangerous, undercover mission that was only supposed to last for three months. As part of the assignment, no one, not even his best friends and classmates, can know about it.
Now, six months have passed since it started and no one knows he’s missing. That is until Katsuki starts to do a little digging.

He sighs, deep and measured, but only remains hungry for another. Swearing colorfully under what little breath he can catch, Katsuki beelines toward a secluded balcony he'd scoped out earlier, right palm hiding the beacon from view while weaving between the dancing bodies of old friends.

Bakugou Katsuki needs three things to bring Izuku's dream back to life: time, money, and patience. And so, he chooses to dedicate infinite amounts of patience, millions of yen, over eight years, to his one and only goal.
When Izuku closes his book on life as a hero, Katsuki opens another, and etches Izuku's name into the pages, the spine, the seams, the ink, everything.
The lines of their stories intertwine like fireworks and lightning ringing loudly and shining brightly for everyone to see.

Katsuki forgets how to breathe, suddenly can’t catch his damn breath, because he knows that voice. Would know it half asleep, through static and smoke and the whole world burning around him. He'd know it on his goddamn deathbed, and if there was anything beyond that, he'd know it there too.Twenty two year old Katsuki wakes up in the future with everything he's ever wanted. A successful hero career, friends who love him, a home that finally feels lived in.
And Izuku.
The problem is, none of it belongs to him (or so he thinks).
