Summary
Tommy didn’t even raise an eyebrow at Buck, just set the paddle down on the coffee table.
“Hey, Eddie? Forget the beer,” he called.
“Why would I do that?” Eddie asked, stepping out from the kitchen. “Oh. God, tell me we’re not spanking for a bad attitude, because that is not a precedent I want set.”
“Maybe that’s a sign we should,” Tommy said dryly.

Summary
“What the hell are you doing?”
Eddie sounded furious as he charged across the patio and Buck groaned to himself. He barely had time to open his mouth before Eddie had knocked the hose from his hands and slammed the grill shut.
“I had it under control,” Buck said, and from the way Eddie’s face flushed redder, that was absolutely the wrong thing to say. Even if it was true.

He thrashed harder, and Tommy moved just in time to avoid being headbutted. “Eddie, you know what to say if you want me to stop,” he said firmly. “Fight it out if you need to, but I’m not letting you hurt yourself and I’m not letting go unless you safeword.”
Eddie roared, and struggled harder against his hold. Tommy used the wild movements to shove himself over so that Eddie was, at least theoretically, on his lap. He squeezed tighter as Eddie screamed out his rage, swearing at Tommy and Evan and Bobby and the world, and Tommy held him through it all.

Bobby is "gone." Is he dead? Is he badly hurt and otherwise gone? I kept it vague because I hate that plot.Series

“I can’t believe you would even think such a thing, let alone say it aloud,” Kate said, aghast.
“Yeah, Tommy,” Evan agreed, smirking at him. “How could you be so wrong?”
“So wrong, in so many ways,” Kate exclaimed.
Tommy stared at them, eyebrow raised. “Wow,” he said, deadpan. “I’m feeling the love here.”

Summary
“Just spit it out, Buck,” Eddie said, sighing. “It can’t be worse than everything you’ve already done.”
“Mmm, I don’t like the sound of that,” Tommy said, eyebrow raised. “Your tone or what happened with Evan while I was gone."
He tried not to sigh at the guilty looks both of his boyfriends wore. He’d picked up enough talking to Evan and texting with Eddie to know that they’d been struggling with the impending separation, and yet he had still underestimated how much the two of them had spiraled without him there.

Let's say Buck, Eddie, and Tommy decided, "Why choose?," started a triad, and made it a domestic discipline relationship while they were at it. Because everyone wins.Series

Summary
She looked at Tommy, then Evan. “I will not hurt Kate.”
“Or them,” Kate hissed.
Yelena laughed, looking delighted. “Of course not them, don’t be so silly,” she said. “They are no—“ She caught their eyes. “Oh. Right. No, no, I won’t hurt you, I don’t hurt any friends of Kate Bishop. Unless they hurt her first, of course.”
Kate elbowed her and she sighed.
“I do not hurt any friends of Kate Bishop, ever, okay? Are we happy now? We can eat our very tasty sushi bowls now?”

Summary
She’d wanted to welcome Yelena to LA with West Coast food, and also shut her up about the state of her old New York kitchen. At least there she could make the mac and cheese she always stocked—although now she did have silverware for six people. That was an improvement.
Luckily, two of her favorite guys have her back.

Summary
Kate had been pretty relieved when the 118 were the first company to show up at her building, because nothing could throw Buck now that he'd been swallowed by a Flerken. There wasn't anything he couldn't accept at this point.
She had sidled up behind him as he unloaded hoses. "Hey. Buck." She aimed for casual, but the eyebrow on his coworker suggested she'd missed.

“You’re not the only one who can get sucked into Wikipedia and Substacks, you know,” Tommy pointed out. “And I’ve taken some online classes with TCM. It was fun to meet other nerds.”
Evan set the case down and took Tommy’s hand. “I’m not sure you’ve ever been hotter to me than you are right now,” he said, very seriously.

Summary
Tommy had always been a blanket hog.
He loved wrapping himself up and getting cozy, awake or asleep. For years he’d tried to ignore the impulse when awake and figure out how to mitigate it when asleep. But once he’d come out and started liking himself more, he’d decided to fuck that. He took his new blanket collection seriously, only buying ones he’d vetted for the right feel and weights.
And today, he was using a good chunk of them to bury himself on his couch.

Patricia snapped her fingers and the scene on the TV screen changed.
Tommy watched his younger self getting ready to knock on Abby’s door for their first date, and remembered that blue shirt. He’d loved that shirt. Ten years ago.
Patricia snapped again and the picture froze on his nervous face. “I could bring us there, but this works perfectly well, I think. We always did like to watch movies together.”

Summary
November dawned bright and clear and full of boils, and was followed by a terrible breakup. Luckily, as brief as terrible.
When December dawned, it was to Evan sitting up in bed next to Tommy, almost vibrating with excitement.
“What do you have there?” Tommy asked, eyeing Evan’s clipboard with some trepidation. He’d heard stories about Evan and clipboards.
“Our Christmas plans,” Evan said triumphantly.

Summary
They kept texting every morning and night, and plenty of times in between. It was definitely coming close to the line of dating vs. getting to know each other, but Buck figured that as long as he kept things PG in his head and actions, it counted.
Maybe PG-13.

“Thanks so much for watching Jee today,” Maddie said, squeezing his arm. “She’s so excited to hang out with you guys, it’s all she’s been—what is that?” she interrupted herself.
“What is what?” Buck asked, as Chim lifted up a candle in wonder.
“You have decorations,” she exclaimed.
“And photos,” Chim said, putting the candle down and stepping to the fridge to look closer. “I didn’t know you realized they could still be printed.”
“Of course I knew they could be printed,” Buck protested.
