Summary
While her twin sister witnesses a murder committed by three teenagers covered in strange markings, Everest Fray is at her friend’s house across the city. Even with all of the chaos that has filled Everest’s life thus far, she was nowhere near prepared for the utter disaster that would become her life upon finding her sister two days after the murder.
It’s then that she reunites with the platonic love of her life and meets the stunning Alec Lightwood. Soon after, she meets the magnificent Magnus Bane and learns that her mother is missing.
Most of this new world makes somewhat sense to Everest, but what doesn't makes sense is how she's never heard so much as a whisper about it. But even that isn't enough to undermine the uncertainty surrounding where she fits in this world.

All too soon, four became three once more. And by the end of 1982, only one remained of the Potter-Black family, torn apart by the dark wizard the boy's parents had fought so hard to defeat.

Summary
Everyone knew the story of Harry Potter, the Boy-Who-Lived. Cedric Diggory was no exception.
(No one, much less Cedric Diggory, had any idea that Harry Potter himself was the exception.)
When Harry Potter began Hogwarts, Cedric Diggory immediately noticed that something wasn't quite right. So he befriended the other boy, faster than either of them thought possible. They grew and evolved together, giving each other a safe person to be themselves with. They were everything to each other. They were thick as thieves, though most didn't understand why. It didn't matter to the boys. They loved each other and that was what mattered.
(It took a long time to figure out just how far that love went.)
This is the story of how two boys found a home in the form of the other, and how they became each other's lifelines in more ways than anyone expected.

No one could have predicted what the relationship between James Potter, Regulus Black, and Lily Evans became. Very few truly understood their relationship once it became established. Countless thought it their responsibility to figure it out. But it was none of their business and the three had no problem reminding such people of that fact, even before they were 'official.'
This is the story of how these three individuals went from being "Potter," "Black," and "Evans" to becoming Potter-Blacks.
