Summary
An amalgamation of ideas from the universes of: Spider-Man, The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Thunderbolts (film, 2025).
------
It's been 6 months since Peter Parker (also: Pietro Lazarev, Arachne) and Bucky Barnes (also: the Winter Soldier) disappeared after Project Insight and the Triskelion SHIELD (and also apparently HYDRA) base were destroyed. This installment of "Arachne" takes us along their journies of recovery, and well as into the events and aftermath of the Battle of Sokovia. With these two on the gameboard, what could possibly change of the outcome of the battle that we all seem to know so well?------
beta read, again, by the coolest: Trouble_With_TribblesSeries

Summary
“Hi, Miss. Do you have an appointment?” A young lady at the front desk calls to her politely.
“Sure”, Yelena replies roughly, laying it heavy on her accent that she suppressed for so many years, no reason to hide it any longer. “You are going to call your stupid, big-foreheaded boss upstairs and tell him that Bob Reynolds is going to get his ass kicked by Dr. Parker's sister; and I *will* get to him whether he comes down here, or I climb the outside of this goddamned, glass dildo with a nametag myself.” She pauses, raising an eyebrow, “Got that?”
—
An amalgamation of ideas from the universes of: Spider-Man, Black Widow, Captain America, The Winter Soldier, and the Thunderbolts (film, 2025); largely following the plot from the 2014 film “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”.

Summary
"They're starting to come through, and I can't stop them. They're here--because of you."
Peter forced the words out once he had the idea.
"What if I wasn't here?"
***
Peter Parker makes one last gamble, asking for Dr. Strange to send him to a new universe--one so far his enemies wouldn't be able to come through the portal and follow him, or endanger his friends. The spell works, and Peter finds himself in the dark, smog-filled streets of Gotham City. Weak from the interdimensional journey, he finds an alliance and friendship with none other than a young street thief in a dirty red hoodie.

Summary
The apartment was smaller than the word apartment deserved.
Calling it a box would have been more honest. Four walls, a ceiling low enough that Peter felt like he’d bang his head trying to stand up from unpacking, and a window that technically opened but jammed half the time. The place smelled faintly of mildew, maybe because of the carpet - or maybe because this whole building had given up on life a few decades ago and was just waiting for someone merciful to bulldoze it.
He told himself it was fine. He told himself worse things had happened. Which, technically, was true.
That didn’t make him feel any better.
