Continuation of The Anatomy of a Fall. A couple of years have passed, and Gerard is now an artist while still being in a relationship with Frank. Frank can choose whether or not other people can see him, so most of the time Gerard appears to be talking to himself. Gerard’s manager becomes increasingly suspicious because Gerard constantly talks to someone who isn’t there.
While Gerard and Frank are working together on some of Gerard’s artwork, the manager steps outside and overhears Gerard talking. At first he assumes Gerard is alone, but then he realizes there is clearly another voice in the room. He goes back inside and confronts Gerard, asking who he has been talking to. Gerard finally tells Frank that they need to explain everything.
Frank agrees to let the manager see him, appears in front of him, and Gerard explains the whole story of Frank’s death, his being a ghost, and everything that happened between them. The manager finally discovers that Frank is real—and that Gerard has actually been talking to his ghost boyfriend all this time.
