Summary
Beomgyu didn't really know what had happened to him. Of course, this was a recognisable feeling, but he thought he’d healed. Everything was going well. He was happy. His friends were happy. But his mind told him he shouldn't be. His mind told him to suffer, to skip meals again, to avoid talking to those he loved. And while the skipping meals part was difficult, he found it easy to shut down a little more everyday. He spent more time in his room, cracked less jokes during practice, declined innocent hangouts because he was “too tired” or “had other plans.”
It genuinely came out of nowhere. But that was the art of depression: surprise attacks that lacked a catalysing force.

Unfortunatly for him, life gets in the way and now he has to navigate all of his insecurities just so he doesn't end up with an even more broken heart.Or, Soobin trying to evade his soulmate's attempts of finding him just to avoid hurting him even more. ft. All idols wear soulbands around their wrists to hide their soulmate’s name: as idols there’s an expectation to be single and appear forever-attainable so that their fans can wonder what name is written on their wrist and believe that there’s a chance it could be their own.
Soobin gave up on a future with a soulmate when he became an idol. He never expected to get a soulmark — and then he did.
