Summary
This journal is old, older than Dean thought, and it starts with a list. From what Dean can tell, it catalogues a bunch of landmarks. Roadside attractions. Silly, stupid ones like the World’s Largest Ball of Twine—of which Sam notes there are actually three, in three different states—and Herkimer, Colorado’s Largest Beetle. Dean remembers seeing at least one of those balls of twine, back when he was a little kid, and it’s probably the one from Cawker City, Kansas, because Sam’s got that one crossed out.
There’s other things too. Museums, galleries, national parks. Those seem more Sam’s style, but he doesn’t appear to discriminate much. Many places are checked off; some Dean can remember going to and others he can’t.
Clutching that notebook to his chest, he thinks he knows what he’s going to do next. Lisa—if she even wants him—she can wait. He’ll finish up some maintenance on the car. He’ll pack a bag. Then, he’s going to drive.
(Post-S5) After the events of Swan Song, Sam stays dead. While unpacking Sam’s old duffel bag, Dean finds a journal with a bucket list inside, and instead of going back to Lisa, he decides to finish it. Eventually, Castiel comes along for the ride.

Destiel. Dean works through his grief at losing Sam by finishing the journal full of things Sam wanted to see. Cas helps him and they find a nice balance. Sad, very thoughtful, hopeful ending. Good story, well written.

Summary
It's been months now, since Castiel sacrificed himself to save Dean from Billie. Dean has nearly lost all hope in being able to find him, when Death shows up to eat his breakfast and give him cryptic messages.
Two weeks later, and he still has no idea what that means.
Oh what's that mysterious fruit sale sign at the Grocery Store? Dean's suddenly Death now because of a not-deus ex machina?
Well that's convenient.

Such a fun story! Dean is Death and empties the empty.

Summary
In a world where angels often live upon Earth, Castiel is unlike his brethren. He prefers to blend in with the humans, to live and work among them, simply observing. No flashes of wings or flares of grace. No gaudy displays of power and wealth. A simple existence.
Of course, a meeting and subsequent friendship with Dean Winchester changes everything. It also makes him more strange—more improper than others. Angels, after all, might share grace and even have sex with humans, but they shouldn't fall in love with them and pine quietly from the sidelines.

Destiel in a cute AU. Angels are known but most prefer reverence, adoration, and fear. Cas just likes humans until he falls in love with Dean. Great short story.

Summary
When Dean sinks to the bottom of the ocean, Castiel is right there beside him.
"Tell me," Dean said, letting the bubbles skim across his lips.
"Tell you what?" Cas asked.
"Everything."

Destiel. Super long but has everything. Tears, forgiveness, deep deep love. All the characters are portrayed well. Michael and Haliel (Lucifer) are redeemed. Who knew the Malak box was a good place for therapy:). Keep it!

Summary
For those of you perving along at home, Dean could absolutely provide a list of the hundred or so ways that having a boyfriend with giant fucking actual wings is super hot and/or awesome.
This is not that list.
