Con todo el lugar en silencio, el sonido de unos pasos alertó a Harry. Podría haberse confundido con la señora Prince, pero él lo sabía mejor. La bajada de temperatura en la habitación y el escalofrío que le recorrió el cuerpo fueron suficiente para averiguar a quién pertenecían esas pisadas tan firmes y seguras de sí mismo.
Sin levantar la cabeza del libro que estaba leyendo, los segundos pasaron y los pasos se detuvieron. El sonido de la silla en frente suya siendo arrastrada resonaron como bombas atómicas en los oídos de Harry. A pesar de la fachada de calma, la presencia en frente suya, tan descomunal y monstruosa, estaba haciendo sonar todas sus alarmas internas.
El nuevo gobernante de la Gran Bretaña Mágica se sentó en frente de él y finalmente Harry levantó la vista de su libro. En el momento que sus ojos se conectaron, el rostro del señor oscuro le sonrió.
— Has sido una pequeña serpiente escurridiza, ¿verdad?
