And then there was Shouta Aizawa, who was very much alive and breathing, yet might as well be another ghost in his mind.
"The 5th anniversary of Hizashi Yamada's and Shouta Aizawa's first date is coming up and both parties couldn't be more miserable. The pair that was once so close had drifted messily apart from each other over the many years, and despite the fact they both long to have a secure and innocent relationship with each other again, they just both hold too much pent up frustration and resentment over how thing left off to work towards it.
In 4 acts, read as these two lovesick idiots work through said pent up emotions in the days leading up to the Anniversary, all while each act starts off with a glimpse of the dreaded date back in their UA days.

Summary

“You?” Lister scoffed. “You’ve got a date? Yeah, when pigs fly.”
“I do!” Rimmer huffed, peering at himself in the mirror as he straightened his already straight tie.
“With who then?”
Rimmer paused, lips pursed into a thin line that made him look rather like a disgruntled ferret. “She’s… a new member of the crew.”
“Oh yeah?” Lister scoffed, propping himself up on an elbow to get a better look at Rimmer. “And what department does she work in, huh? The special boot-licking division? The secret ass-kissers corps? Or maybe she’s one of the people who uses toothbrushes to scrub out the gristle in between the plates on the outside of the ship?”
Rimmer has, in his opinion, a rather genius plan to trick Lister into giving him his best chat-up lines so he can steal them for himself. Unfortunately, Rimmer doesn't anticipate that Lister's lines will work on him.
