Hajime can’t fathom why he’d done it. He can’t fathom how him—him of all people, bought ladies underwear for the singular purpose to wear it, admire it. Even the thought sounds dirty and wrong, more akin to something that’d be in line with Teruteru’s temperament; Kazuichi’s too, maybe. Less so but still accordant. Not him. Not Hajime ‘goody two-shoes, capable as a machine gun, silently ambitious and sociable leader’ Hinata. But here he was.
Hajime buys lingerie for himself and feels things about it. Nagito feels things too, but not what Hajime expects.

He couldn’t so simply shut off his hyper awareness like he wanted; much less like he needed. But Nagito was patient, and if there’s one thing he’s mastered, it’s pushing his buttons; whether it’s to mischievously move along a class trial, or to gently deconstruct Hajime’s predisposition for control.
Hajime has a hard time admitting things. Nagito is awfully patient.
