Surely, it won't hurt to sit there. It'll be more comfortable, he tells himself, never mind that he’s already perfectly comfortable standing.
He gives in to the temptation, careful as his weight causes the mattress to dip. Armand watches the gentle rise and fall of his breath. He’s drooling a little bit. There's one long, unruly brown curl tickling his nose, causing it to twitch as he breathes.
He’ll wake himself up like this, Armand tells himself that’s the reason he bends low, inches from Daniel’s body, reaching a slender hand to take the curl between his fingers, intending to tuck it away…."
