Daniel was born in a cruel, soulless, and such an empty minded country. So at his short age he already felt lonely in this world. He grew up in an addicted household, his father a drunk and his mother a drug addict. It was highly unlikely that he wouldn't end up in one of those situations, so he ended up being a drug addict and studying journalism after his mother's death and getting rid of his father. The only thing that keeps him going is the coke and interviewing people.
This boy had been through a lot and his life is only a roulette of traumatic events. For his bad luck he is sort of kidnapped by a vampire one night and the next morning he wakes up at a drug den. He doesn't remember too much of the interview, the only thing he can recall are those eyes. Orange gorgeous predator eyes.
One night searching for drugs and fun he finds those eyes lurking him and the prey falls in love with the predator.
This is just the beginning of the miserable life that awaits poor Daniel and his inmortal lover.[This work was written prior to the release of Season 3 of Interview with the Vampire. Any differences from canon are intentional.]
