Summary
Spock had always been fascinated by the Forge, since the day his father brought him to see it for the first time. The tales of his ancestors protecting Shikahr from the dangers of the desert had always appealed him, like the stories and fairytales of Earth his mother would often tell him before bed. He grew listening to these stories and understood this would become his duty as an adult, protect and serve Shikahr and its people.
But even now, at the young age of six, while most children’s biggest preoccupations were their sehlats, he worried about his future. Would he be able to pass his Kahs’wan? Would he be a worthy heir to his father and clan?It should have been a normal trip to the desert with I'Chaya, but then everything went up in flames.

After the war Piandao decided to teach the young adult that presented himself at his doorstep, he seemed like a decent guy that might have some potential ( the actual reason was that without the war he was starting to get bored, even if his 'activities' with his lover helped ).
What he didn't expect was his lesson to be interrupted by a very sleepy and stressed teenager.

He was Severus Tobias Snape, he was 4, he lived with is father in Spinner's End, his mother died of child birth and he was a freak.
His father reminded him of all that, it was great because that meant he cared, he wanted him to be better not to be a freak anymore, that's why he did it right...?
Because he cared... right?
He found out too late that maybe he didn't care enough, if even at all.
Or Severus grows up alone with his father and doesn't understand that what he does is wrong, one faithful summer day after sneaking out and he watches what a happy family looks like. Maybe now things will finally change for the better
Or or some family angst but it gets better in no time and lots and lots of Mother Minerva and Son Severus fluff.
