“We’ve got to stop meeting like this.”

She stood over him, a glorious vision in lime green robes and sentient frizz. Just like always.

“Say the word, and I’ll take you on a date, Granger,” he replied, mustering his trademark smirk despite the pain of two cracked ribs and a burn on his shoulder.

“Malfoy.” Her rebuke was half-hearted as she set to work peeling back his dragonhide armor.

Draco Malfoy had few regrets in life—other than the years he’d spent being a bully and a prat, his brief stint as a Death Eater, and a particularly horrifying night in his Manor—other than those times, his biggest regret was that the only times Granger had ever seen him shirtless, it had been because he very unsexily needed her to heal him, and never from a romantic ailment—like tuberculosis.

    Summary

Draco stared at the screen. Or, more accurately, the words on the screen. His face lax and unreadable, he looked from Hermione back to where the title glowed in clean black letters.

Why We Should Fuck (& Maybe More): An Empirical Study

He looked at her like she’d grown another head, or a tail, or declared she was in love with the elderly and deaf Ministry archivist, Agnes Brocklehurst. He looked pained, but somehow managed to keep his tone light and casual. “So, what’s all this then?”

“What does it look like? I have a proposal to discuss.”

    “With that title?”

    “Yes.”

“And this is the personal project you wanted to discuss with… me. I am… one of the ‘we’?”

“Well, I wasn’t planning to present it to McLaggen.”

    Summary

At thirty, Hermione Granger’s life is perfectly fine. A bit quiet. A bit predictable. Her best friend insists it’s time for a change, so, somewhat reluctantly, Hermione creates a dating profile.
She doesn’t expect SilverHeir to be interesting, or funny, or surprisingly easy to talk to, even though he refuses to show his face.
Meanwhile, Draco Malfoy returns to England. He comes back to the Ministry, and to her department. He’s still absolutely insufferable: arrogant, snide, and, unfortunately, better looking than he has any right to be. Especially when he wears glasses. Her days are filled with tense meetings and barely concealed hostility. Her nights are filled with messages from someone she’s finding it harder and harder not to think about.
This is a romantic comedy about bad ideas, worse coworkers, and the unexpected upside of anonymous flirting.

    Summary

It’s been almost five years since Ron’s death, and Hermione still wakes up feeling like she can’t breathe. Calming draughts help, but they don’t make her forget. Draco Malfoy turns out to be far more effective. He doesn’t ask. He takes. He has a wife, a potion empire, a fortune, and demons of his own. Their encounters are neither tender nor healthy — but they bring her something she hasn’t felt in years: silence in her head.

Their brutal relationship becomes her new sedative — until the first victim of a magical coma is brought into St. Mungo’s, and Hermione has no choice but to wake up.
