The sins grow restless after learning about Meliodas's demon nature following his death and mysterious revival. Tensions rise as he avoids the topic, and the others are torn between their loyalty to him, and the secrets he clearly hides. They end up taking drastic measures to learn the truth... and it changes the course of the story. To give a better idea of how this story goes, this is a fan fiction about Meliodas's past in the war and present with the Sins colliding. Think of it as an alternate story of how the war with the Ten Commandments and Liones could play out. One filled with more in-depth angst and backstory between Meliodas and his brothers. Not to mention, a bit of an alternate backstory as to why he left the demons to begin with...
P.S. The writing quality will likely improve or change as the story continues, because I started writing this in 2023 and have continued writing chapters all the way to now.

Cows ate grass, birds ate seeds, fairies ate fruits, humans ate a lot of things, and demons.... Well.
Merlin knew what demons ate and that was souls, but there was a certain demon she knew that had been ignoring that fact for a very long time, and she knew it was causing some health issues even if he hid that weakness well.
She knew meliodas as he was now would never eat a soul willingly, but she had an idea that could fix that little problem.
One that could either backfire horribly, or be the solution to all their problems.

Summary
Amon had never known Jason to take human prisoners, but as he was dragged into a checkered room with only a chair and a battered boy bound to it, he soon found himself as an exception. Kaneki wasn't well, his mind broken under Jason's relentless torture, but beneath it all, Amon couldn't help but admire him. It was his quiet strength and selflessness which Jason weaponized against Kaneki.
Yet when faced with the reality of what Kaneki was, Amon couldn't help but question everything he believed in. Ghouls didn't cry and they didn't take pain in the place of others.
There was something different about Kaneki. Something Amon had to find out for himself.
