Summary
Jill Valentine is the newest member of the Raccoon City S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team in September of 1997. Her probationary period finds her studying under the watchful gaze of Captain Albert Wesker and the encounter will have lasting effects for the city and for her soul. Prior to the events of the Spencer Mansion, the small mid-western town is plagued by murders that is theirs to solve.
This is a detective mystery/romance AU that will see Albert Wesker as just a man that leads a team of elite police operatives. While I will still have the Umbrella plot in the background, I'd like the explore what a complex man like Wesker looks like along the rest of his squad.

Firefighter and paramedic Claire Redfield is just trying to get through her shifts on the ambulance in September of 1998 when a nightmarish pandemic hits her city. She, along with the other emergency personnel, must make a stand if they want to survive through the week. It doesn't hurt that the cute rookie who pulled her over previously still hasn't lost his charm. Men are weird sometimes.

After a year of testing that concludes in 2010, Jill Valentine has been cleared to return to her normal life. But she can’t forgive or forget what she’s done and the compassion she receives from those around her rings hollow. When the nightmares of her dreams follow her into the nightmare of the present, Jill can’t help but think of one man. She never told anyone how much she dreamed of Carlos Oliveira; she never told them how much his memory saved her from losing her mind entirely.
On her search for Carlos through South America, Jill encounters one of the oldest evils of civilization. Humanity.
Bioweapons required the utmost consideration when fighting against them. But men? Men were just men, and they bled every time for Jill Valentine.
