About eight years after their high school graduation, Noelle and Susie meet back up with Kris whom they haven’t seen since they moved to New York. Riddled with guilt from the past, Noelle hopes to make amends with Kris and improve her relationship with them; Meanwhile, Susie refuses to acknowledge the distance growing between her and her best friend. Having been in a stable relationship since the festival, Susie and Noelle can’t imagine a future without the other… At the same time, seeing Kris again has prodded old wounds and fueled forgotten embers. As Susie and Noelle come face to face with their desires, they are also forced to accept the new life Kris has built without them. The journey to rekindling their relationship may prove more treacherous than originally thought…

Despite being very aware that her camera isn’t on – which, thank god, it’s not; she doesn’t want Kris to see her in this absolute state – she furrows her eyebrows. Since when were leaves of any significance in this conversation?
“..Huh?”
“Mom asked me and Azzy to sort out the leaves in the front garden,” Kris rushes to explain, and Susie can already imagine their chaotic hand movements as they describe it all to her. “But he doesn’t like touching them. And I also don’t like touching them.”
Susie visits the Dreemurr's house to help clean up their leaves.

Perry the Platypus has an unfortunate habit of breaking into Heinz's apartment instead of asking first. Usually, that goes just fine. But today is not his lucky day. (Except it is. It absolutely is.)
(Or: Perry's a wee bit afraid of asking if he can come over, so he breaks in instead. Perfectly reasonable. It just so happens that he stumbles upon Heinz in a dress. The two then have a conversation about it.)
This can be read as either romantic or platonic Perryshmirtz but it leans more towards the romantic. If you'd rather keep it platonic, I'd recommend squinting while you read and just skipping the last few end-stopped blurbs at the end, because that's really where it progresses. (None of them are integral to the fic, they're just for fun.) Nothing explicit happens, but I've learned that people like warnings.
