There are three main characters in this story, all having a sad past that tugs at the heartstrings. All of the front and center in this play.
One losing himself to pain and heartbreak, giving in to a darkness that should have never been trusted
the second going mad as his mind breaks and forgetting
and the last, giving in to anger and revenge, letting in a piece of the darkness itself and making something new, giving up its heart for power
but there's a fourth main player, sidelined and forgotten, still here, waiting, watching as the sand falls. Sitting in a broken silver cage as her heart breaks more and more each day.
