Summary
“I didn’t mean to.” Will says in a small voice.
“I know buddy. I know. I don’t blame you. It’s not your fault. He was a bad guy anyway ok?” Dustin says reassuringly.
Will shakes his head and looks down. Tears fall faster down his cheeks.“We need to get out of here. Find the others, ok?” Dustin leans over slightly to catch Will’s gaze. Dustin helps him stand, the metal chair creaks slightly under the shift in weight. Dustin supports him around the waist and slings Will’s right arm around his shoulders. Then snatches a keycard from the corpse on the floor.
The pair awkwardly hobble to the door.
Dustin presents the stolen card to the reader and waits for it to flash green.He opens the door slowly. It creaks slightly, loud in the otherwise barren room.
Dustin strains his neck and peaks down the hallway.
Oh god.It's a bloodbath.

Summary
After defeating Vecna 18 months ago, Will and Mike have become attached at the hip. When Mike goes to pick Will up for their daily hangout, he overhears Will telling Jane he doesn't want to be roommates with Mike in the fall due to needing to finally get over him. Mike is blindsided by his words, but the more he thinks about them, the more confused he becomes with his own feelings towards Will. To find a way to address this with him and work through his thoughts, Mike plans a beach trip for the party. One thing leads to another, and they are forced to share a small pull-out couch for 7 complicated days.

Will jumps a little by surprised. Mike’s face closes off, preparing for what’s to come for his younger self.
Mr. Wheeler drags tiny Mike all the way to the kitchen.
“Outch! Dad you’re hurting me.” past Mike wiggles away from his grip.
“Don’t be such a wimp Micheal. You know what people say about that little Byers boy?”
“I said I don’t care!” past Mike shouts at him. Obviously not hearing this for the first time.
Mr wheeler slaps the back of past Mike’s head. The little boy stumbles then rubs his head with his hand.

Summary
Before he leaves, Mike peers into the hall, looking around to check if anyone is around, before rushing back to Will’s side and pressing their lips together again. This time Will realizes it’s coming in time to close his eyes, like people who kiss on tv do. He feels Mike smile against his lips and he smiles back automatically.
Mike’s face is grinning and flushed when he backs away, saying, “I’ll be back tomorrow!”
Maybe Will should be upset by the secrecy, but it’s actually relieving, because Mike definitely does understand. He understands what this is, and that no one else can know, and that it won’t be easy, and he wants to kiss Will anyway. He wants to be crazy with him anyway.
Crazy together.

Or, Will and Mike get together in season 2 because I thought it would be cute.
