“Oklahoma.” Not even close to home. “Wanna tell me what you're doing in Oklahoma in the middle of a field?”
Conner waves a hand. “Was with Tim. It gets fuzzy after that.” He sighs, pulling his eyes open to stare at him blearily. “Oklahoma?”
“Oklahoma,” Clark confirms, and decides it’s safe to approach now. There are three cows sitting around him, and they blink at him with the same kind of I-guess-this-is-happening confusion as Conner. “At least you found some friends.”

Katsuki’s fingers are gentle and slightly warm from using his quirk for so long, wiping at the dirt on his cheeks with only a whisper of a touch. It feels fond. It makes Izuku’s throat tight. Earned, that voice in the back of his head whispers, you bled for this moment.

The newly released mobile game Heroes Rising: Ultimate Combat had taken the gaming world by storm. Naturally, the Class 1-A gamers dove right in.
Most moved on after a few weeks, but Midoriya's obsession only grew. His notebooks, once filled with notes about real heroes, were now packed with game strategies, hero abilities, and Quirk synergies. Getting him to look up from his phone was practically impossible—though at least he still played in the living room, letting the others catch occasional glimpses of him.
"Let's make it a contest," Hagakure suggested. "Whoever gets him to actually look up wins!"
And so, a new Class 1-A competition began.
