Summary
Light unlatches from the man’s throat and tilts his head toward the sky, swallowing deeply, mouth ajar, smiling slightly with eyes closed as if overcome by some unnameable bliss. His face is painted in the black-red splatter of blood, with a leonine agility, the apex predator looking up from the bowels of its prey, a beard of gore, leaking down his throat and onto his pristine white shirt.
“You,” L sputters, “What the hell are you?”
Light’s eyes flutter open at the noise and fix back on him, and for the first time in a very extensive and eventful career, L is afraid.When Detective L Lawliet is sent to Florence to investigate the bodies washing nightly along the shores of the River Arno, he meets a peculiar stranger who threatens to distract him from his work.

Summary
New job, new truck, new fiancée... John Watson, former storm chaser, has settled into a comfortable new life.
There's only one problem: John's already married. And the the divorce papers he's been sending to his former partner, Sherlock Holmes, keep going missing. So with his fiancée Mary by his side, John reluctantly makes a trip to see him in the hopes of finalizing their divorce once and for all.
