In the dark room, the flashing colorful lights dancing around them, the sweat of the number of people surrounding him, a cup with a drink that he didn’t know the name of in his hands, Tim fell in love.

He was officially 20 years old, and here he was in his apartment, celebrating in a cold dark kitchen all by himself.

Scott’s eyes flickered towards the clock. It was still early, Cassie wouldn’t be up for another few hours, Kurt and Dave wouldn’t be here for another two.
He could just lie here for a little longer, bask in the warmth of Luis and soft blankets. Scott looked towards the other man, admiring the way the brunette’s hair laid on his forehead softly without the gel. His eyes lingered on the small beauty marks by the man’s lips.

Scott froze, eyes widening and breath hitching as he stared at the face of his best friend.
Of course Scott knew Luis was a good looking guy, anyone could see it. And sure, maybe sometimes Scott got a little lost in those brown eyes but it was never anything more than that.
Luis was Luis. And he was Scott.

Scott Lang discovers he’s in love with his best friend. The problem? He’s on house arrest and currently lives with said best friend. (Who he also shares a bed with when his amazing wonderful daughter spends the night)

He says it casually, without an ounce of the bitterness or contempt one would expect from such a statement. As if it's a fact of the world that Dick should obviously be aware of.
He even has the audacity to then take a sip of his coffee while laughing at a tiny dog walking into a pole across the street.
What the fuck.
(Or, the Batfam becomes increasingly aware of the disconnect between Tim and them. Everyone panics.
Well, everyone except Tim. He’s just wondering why no one will let him finish his goddamn coffee.)
