When he's offered an alliance that may save his clan and village, Shikaku Nara would be a very poor shinobi if he refused, even if he's not really keen on a political marriage.

Summary
Yumie Uchiha is a girl who wants to live. Growing up as the other pea to the pod that is Itachi and herself, she grew up knowing she was destined to be tangled in a twisted yarn of fate. She wants to live, is ashamed of that primal want inside of her; but, nevertheless claws her way through life leaving a blood trail in her wake. Yumie will do anything to survive, even if that means killing her own blood and going on the run with the boy who selected her to be his partner in crime.
Yumie knows her fate is forever entangled alongside Itachi’s. She can only hope that she won’t die the disgraced death her kinsman wished upon her with their dying breaths.
