The cat is mostly white, with a ginger tabby tail and a little mask on the top of its forehead and ears, almost like a helmet. Charles almost chuckles to himself over the comparison. When she looks up at him, he notices the cat's eyes are different colours. The left eye is blue and the right eye is golden.
He lifts a hand steadily and the cat brushes her head against it, a small rumbling purr coming from her throat.*

Summary
This fic series of warrior cats takes place in the far future around the lake, but seeing as this is my story, the events that happened after The Last Hope never happened here. I myself have only read one book of Vision of Shadows but I have no plans of reading the rest of the series. Having said that, the rules in the warrior code are a bit different thanks to the many years between this fic and Omen of The Stars.
There are also more LGBT+ characters in this series, and all pronouns and sexualities are respected.

Summary
A year after the events of Pacific Rim, Hermann Gottlieb rejoins the PPDC and finds it has changed drastically in his absence. He and Newton Geiszler are asked to pilot the Jaeger Occam's Razor, despite physical and mental handicaps that should bar them from becoming Rangers. The world is shifting violently in the absence of Kaiju, and the new Jaeger program is formed with questionable motives. Even as the k-sci boys struggle to understand their feelings for each other and where they fit into a system torn by revolt, they must also deal with the lingering presence of the Kaiju hivemind and a new wave of monsters completely different than any that came before.

“We were at Paddy’s yesterday,” he repeats, “For New Year’s.”
“When are we not at Paddy’s, Mac?” Dennis groans, and Mac shrugs helplessly.
“I could’ve sworn...” he starts, “I had the weirdest dream, man.”
Or, after a horrible New Year's Eve, Mac is looking forward to a fresh start in the new year. He soon realises that something must be wrong, though, because Dennis is saying the exact same things he said the day before. In fact, everything is the same. Over and over again.
