Traught, whelmed, and feeling the aster, he’d said. Well she wasn’t feeling any of those things right now. In fact, she was rather distraught, overwhelmed, and definitely feeling the disaster. Heavy on the dis, as she felt a rib crack under her hands.
She’d seen him still and silent before, he was a Bat, contrary to popular opinion, Nightwing excelled at still and silent- when he wanted to. But this- this was wrong. The wrong kind of still, the wrong kind of silent. His face was twisted in a grimace even in his unconscious state. She refused to think of him as clinically dead at the moment.
The X-Pit had consequences if you weren’t a meta. Most of them had gotten to avoid them, thanks to Halo, but Nightwing had still been recovering. And now… they weren’t sure he would.Note that Comment Moderation has been enabled due to an influx of bot comments and “offers” for art. And what would a sane person do when they realise no one gives a single fuck about their well being and doesn’t see them as nothing but a war tool? Fuck shit up subtly, make plans to overthrow the government, make a list of the people you want dead and you will kill, collect the pieces of the most feared dark wizard’s soul just in case, commit war crimes on a daily basis, and get working on that killing list.
Fortunately Harry is sane.

Summary
After fighting for his life for years and being Dumbledore's perfect little pawn, Harry Potter thought he could finally be himself. Do what he wanted to do and finally make choices for himself. Only after he returned to Hogwarts for his last year and finished all the death eater trials did he realize that was not the case anymore. A portion of Dumbledore's will was brought to the Wizengamot as well as a magical binding contract signed by him for his magical ward. In which stated that at the end of the war, Harry Potter, was to be married off to a family from the opposing side for "the greater good" of the country so that the two sides can be brought together once more. What's worse is that no one knew that Dumbledore was Harry's magical guardian. It was also worse because the only slightly appropriate person that wasn't 10-20 years older or wasn't in Azkaban was Draco Malfoy.
