    Before he can make the move to Ottawa in free agency, Ilya is traded to the Detroit Overdrive for the remainder of the season. It's only a temporary move to bolster their playoff prospects, but it still puts a hell of a wrench in some carefully laid plans.     There’s a lot of things Luca has dreamt about in his twenty full orbits around the sun, some of which have come true, like standing on MHL ice and watching a crowd go crazy because he’s just scored a goal whilst his team celebrates around him. Luca knows he’s good at hockey, second overall in the 2018 draft, putting points up across the board and part of the first line for Switzerland that won gold in the World’s Juniors competition.

    But all the stats in the world don’t mean anything when Ilya Rozanov - one of the greatest players to ever hit the ice, formerly a captain of a team he led to a Stanley cup before even hitting 25 - is his captain.
