2026 NOTE: OMG I JUST READ THE NEW 7.0 ARTIFACT LORE - lowkey wondering if Hoyo read this because holy shit. We're so back baby
**SLOW BURN**
You are a lawyer in Liyue Harbour whose business partner suddenly dies, making you responsible for the secret loan they'd taken out with the Northland Bank.
Unable to pay, you are summoned to a private audience with the Regrator himself, who makes you an interesting proposition to settle your debt; a transactional 'exchange of affectionate services'. You and he will be exclusive on two conditions: (i) no sex; and (ii) no love.
Despite your strong principles making you want to avoid having anything to do with him, as you get to know him, you cannot help but feel a strange and uncomfortable chemistry develop. Will your attraction for him in your personal interactions outweigh your moral objections to the dark and dirty deeds he does when not with you? Will he eventually overcome his trauma-induced aversion to sex?
And how does Pantalone's troubled past dictate his sense of love and intimacy?
---
Apart from living in Liyue and being a lawyer, no other descriptors are used for Reader. No use of Y/N so as not to break immersion

Summary
H'zashi's feathers stood on end, blood boiling at the fear in the fledgeling's eyes, the way their running was flagging even though their breathing still came way too fast— He flew forwards, covering the remaining distance and swiftly whirling around the little Green, placing himself between them and their pursuers, wings spread wide. He put one wing back to cover them.
Internally, he both cooed and cried when Green's hands immediately grabbed onto him, tucking close.

Summary
If love took the form of a closed door, Senku would never leave. If love took the form of spring, you would be kissing dandelions into the breeze.
Maybe if you did it enough times, Senku would grow curious from watching through the window and find himself peeking through an open door instead; and maybe with enough time, you two would be looking for dandelions to kiss in winter.
