Everyone gets bored, and everyone likes to let off steam when they’re being plagued by meaningless guilt over supposed failures done against young deer women. Queen is no exception.
Unfortunately, Castle Town is not actually as expansive and fun as the itty-bitty prince claims it is. As it is, she only has three consistent activities —
1. Drink for hours, drink drink, drink. Drink so much battery acid. And battery wine. But mostly battery acid.
2. Bother the other people in town (gets old fast).
3. Sit upright, contemplate her faults and also everyone else’s faults but mostly hers.That is until a few days ago, when the Lighteners brought someone new in. A real tall glass of However that phrase ends.

Ralsei would like to believe he's strong. After all, he knows the prophecy. He knows how it ends. He bears the burden of fate.
...
So why. Why was he feeling like this? Susie said it'd be fine. She wouldn't let it happen. Kris wouldn't let it happen. Yet he still felt.... Alone. Desperate.He hated it. But at the same time, he deserved it. And as he limped back to the gates of Castle Town, all he could think about was how selfish he was, wishing his friends were here to comfort him.
Or: Ralsei comes back to Castle Town after chapter 4 and Tenna comforts him.

The Dreemurrs have gone on vacation for the holidays! Unfortunately, being left alone in the winter without any heating means Tenna has very quickly fallen ill, freezing to the point of becoming bedridden.
