The guy looks Dazai straight in the eye. Dazai suddenly feels like he's being stabbed from the inside, all his internal organs twisting and threatening to fail on him right there and then.
That includes his brain, apparently, when Dazai opens his mouth and all that comes out is a petulant, "Ew."
The guy pauses, blinking in bewilderment. Then, his mouth curls downwards in a slight frown, and there is no reason for him to look even more attractive like that, but he does. Dazai is so screwed. "The fuck, dude?"

Atsushi scanned the orange rabbit cradled gently in Dazai’s arms as he mulled it over. “He’s cute. Where’d you get him?”
“Build A Bear.”
Atsushi stared at him for a moment before Dazai realized that Atsushi, reasonably, had no clue what that was.
“It’s an American thing, I think. We were on some undercover mission and got these bunnies because we lacked childhood experiences.”
“We? Who is we?” Atsushi asked, and Dazai smiled.
Kunikida rolled his eyes from his spot across the desks. “Good luck kid, he has never once explained to us who the other person is in that story.”
“My old partner. From my previous job.”
Kunikida stopped and looked back up at Dazai. “You know none of us know where you worked beforehand, don’t be so cryptic.”
“Well, I mean, I could have just said he was my boyfriend.”
