Summary
Gotham was literally cursed but no one believed Bruce. He took it upon himself to fix it and after decades of searching, that solution came to him in the form of a little blue vial. Bruce was to take the curse within himself to temper it into something manageable.
He thinks the others would call him stupid and stop him if they knew about this, but (un)fortunately for Bruce, his family hasn't spoken to him for forever. There was no one here to stop him.
He downed the liquid and woke up as his nine-year-old self.
Ch3 Excerpt:
“Mother, do you remember those funny clouds above people’s heads I told you about? Well, I’m doing something about them but the process is very lonely. Or not. I think it’s just me. I’m the problem. I can’t seem to get people to like me enough to stay. I know–-… I’m aware that it’s due to my own shortcomings but sometimes, it feels like even the worst monsters have people that love them and yet I have no one.”
Bruce let out a humourless chuckle and rested his forehead on his knees.
“I just wish there was someone that cared about me.”

Summary
There was something strange about this world. Something in the air. Ed wasn't quite sure what it was, but he was going to get to the bottom of this.
When Edward Elric travels through the portal after defeating Father, Truth refuses to accept Ed's alchemy in exchange for Alphonse. He is faced with three choices, none appealing. Either return empty-handed, sacrifice his own life for Alphonse's, or do a favor for Truth. He picks option three, and finds himself waking up on a trash-covered beach in a strange world, one where every man, woman, and child have some strange power. In order to get home, he must accomplish whatever it is that Truth wants from him, and unfortunately, the being is not exactly inclined to provide thorough explanations.

Summary
Being brought to Truth's realm after three years following the Promised Day was not something Ed expected to happen. Especially when Truth offers him a deal to get his gate back.
This Thanos guy with his special stones is added to Ed's frequently used shit list.
Let's just hope these stones aren't anything like the philosopher's stones, but if they are, Ed knows how to deal with them. And if they aren't, he'll figure them out like he does with everything else.
