He was a ghost amongst his family, he thought to himself. Everyone praised Peter, how handsome he was, how tall he was. Everyone fawned over Susan, the oldest girl, how beautiful she was, how demure, how well spoken. Lucy was the baby and she played the part well, to no fault of her own, she was doted on for how cute she was, how darling, how precious and precocious. Lost within the mix was Edmund, the second born son. He wasn’t handsome or tall like Peter, and he wasn’t the baby like Lucy, he seemed to just fade into the background.

I wrote the Edmund-centric fic that I wanted to see in the world. This fic centers around the trauma that Edmund suffered at the hands of the White Witch in Narnia (canonical and non-canonical), his relationship with his siblings, his relationship to the world around him, and his journey growing up as a gay kid in 1930s-40s England and Narnia. This is the first of what will be a series, each fic focusing on a different part of his life. This one will focus mainly on little kid Edmund and Narnia Edmund. There is some heavy content, so check the tags, I will also put appropriate trigger warnings at the beginning of each chapter.
