4 months after Will and his friends/teammates won their first Claw, now they have returned for the next roarball season. However, the night after their first game, the Thorns discovered a popular movie: 'Kpop Demon Hunters'. Who would have thought that the first hunters of their universe would be a group of 6 chaotic roarball players fighting against a new roarball team who are not what they seem?

Ses coéquipiers s’inquiètent de son manque flagrant d’intérêt pour la romance,mais Will assure. Il n’a besoin que le soutien de sa communauté, la présence de son équipe et son amour pour le Roarball, et il se sent comblé.
C'est sans parler l’intérêt depuis toujours présent du lézard fou de l’équipe, bien décidé à convaincre la chèvre que la romance n’est pas morte. Mieux, peu leur donner des ailes!
Petit problème : Il est le tout dernier homme que Will croit pouvoir tomber amoureux de lui.

Will's meeting with the team goes awry when he's threatened to be eaten by their resident lizard, who seems very inclined to succumb to his predatory instincts despite the goat's protests. Will can't tell if the whole team are actually all messing with him and in on the joke, or if he should legitimately be scared for his life. Shenanigans ensue.

In the Thorns-Shivers semi-finals, everyone came out okay except for a slashed arm for Archie and Will being dunked in the Cryosphere's waters by Jett.
But what would happen if Jett made her move at a certain angle, and a piece of ice was in the wrong place?
As Will's accident becomes an injury that cannot be ignored, the fallout spreads far and wide to many individuals, regions, teams, and the ROAR League itself as they fully grasp the reality that, even though nothing of this magnitude happened in 50 years, today, it did.

Longer summary:
Modo had learned a few things over the years:
1) When fighting angry, blind animals, it was usually best to stay out of the way.
2) Jett's policy was simple to understand: Don't be sorry, be better.
3) Most animals understand with their eyes. They were easy to fool.Those three cardinal directions had landed him on this new true north, and now he found himself in contention with the final notch missing on the compass: time. He only needed a bit more time to get all of this settled, to fix the crumbling stone in the foundation of what the Greenhouse stood for. The roots run deep, but they sought out the cracks.
So, he worked. And played. And rebuilt. He poured all he had into what he thought was stone but turned out to be sand...and the storms and the waves were coming roaring in. Time. He needed more time to figure this out, and time to beat the roots before they exploited that weakness.

There was something about the Gargoyle of Tephra that had fascinated Modo since that Claw game - how he turned away the freak of a creature that was Modo like the Thorns's refusal to acknowledge physics didn't matter, how he was the inverse of everything Modo understood about the cause-and-effect of emotion... how that reputation fit him so absolutely perfectly yet not at all at the same time.
He had to know how to do what this one did. He had to know who exactly this was. That gamble was the best one Modo ever played, even if the other didn't quite agree at first. They were, after all, the perfect inverse to each other: the one who pretended to be a fool, and the one who pretended to be a monster.
Set before and after "Castle in the Sand", but can absolutely be read on its own. Depending on how this lands, I am open to chapter suggestions after the first five.

But there are forces who look at them and think what they have is wrong. Mediums shouldn't be with Talls. Lizards and Mammals shouldn't be together. An online force grows, spilling over into their everyday lives.
Old faces will come back into play.
Legal issues brought up.It's like they've all forgotten the lengths Modo and the Thorns went through to keep Will safe.

Playoffs have begun once again after another successful season for the Thorns with their new addition, Will Harris finally settling into the team.
Faced with the responsibility of being a role model to every small as the world of the NRL shifts into more acceptance for smaller animals.
It's hard being the only one representing a specific group of animals, but now he's not the only one. A new team, the Copperheight Wranglers had a popularity-boosting breakout against the Peak City Tectonics with an ocelot in their ranks.
A sign of progression, but there's something definitely off about them and it's hard to judge so quickly when he's never had to readjust to a completely new dynamic with someone his size.
No matter how small the package, or how well you play, at the end of the day you can become somebody's prey.
That fact alone would make anyone on edge—even when it's around the teammates you've known for the entirety of your career.

When her and Lenny began dating, they'd vowed to keep their relationship a secret from the public. Olivia was already on thin ice-- revealing that she was a part of an interspecies relationship could be her breaking point.
But when her anxieties cloud her judgement and get in the way of their relationship, it's up to Lenny to remind her that no matter what anyone online said, all that mattered was the love they shared.
