Summary
With the tensions of the Moe Kitchener murder resolved, Lilly has residual troubles and mixed feelings on the events, and she turns to Scotty for company over beer. The conversation and night take a turn neither planned, both vulnerable and emotionally threadbare, and in the months to follow, lines are blurred, crossed and taped back together until Lilly accepts the offered role at the FBI. Then six years later, Lilly returns to her hometown, taking the position of a retiring member of PPD, and the world has changed. Nick's happily and loyally married to Megan, Kat's trying to cope with her nearing college-aged daughter, and Scotty's struggling with crappy neighbors who have no respect for anyone, leaving Will Jeffries and John Stillman to play the role of parents for these hopeless kids. But it wasn't only an ache for Philly that's compelled Lilly to go home, and the hectic lives of Philly's finest are about to hit a new high.

Summary
A Nashville police department celebration for the closing of the six years cold murder of Truck Sugar started up with steak, dancing and heavy pours of beer, and eventually, classic Southern moonshine. Consumed by youthful memories, a healthy inebriation and clumsy dancing sends homicide partners Lilly Rush and Scotty Valens crashing into his hotel room—into his bed. A move clearly deemed as irrevocable, as Lilly swiftly bails, but it's not a seamless out.
Later, when fellow detective Kat Miller calls Lilly out on her suspicions, the fallout of that night reveals hard truths, and a passionate longing between the partners further blooms. Perhaps it was always there, but the timing was wrong or wrecked.
So now, their clock faces align and the ever forward hands present their futures, however; nothing's simple with fire and ice. A theory confirmed anew when Scotty's fiery, demanding-all heart falls for Lilly's ice-masked, trauma-thickened heart. -

I have never seen anything with Cameron Coulter/Reader shit and I really really needed it but y'know, if no one else bothers you might as well do it yourself. Also all this probably wont be 'realistic' or whatever but it's literally written about a character in a single Cold Cases episode with barely any lines or screen time so you have to understand. I'm just desperate and horny.
