Summary
“So you’re not here to rub your victory in my face? Not here to knock me down again?” Hitoshi challenges as Midoriya stands. Now, it’s his turn to block Midoriya’s path. He doesn’t even need to move. Izanami just has to spread out a single leathery wing, the almost one meter long appendage nearly smacking Midoriya in the face when he tries to walk past. “Thought wolverines were all about fighting.”
He watches Midoriya’s jaw clench.
“We had a good match in the festival,” Midoriya says slowly. His fingers barely brush the fur on the top of Yuki’s head. “Please, let’s not ruin it.”

Summary
“H-Hello?” he calls, testing his voice, finding it crackling and dry like wood in a fire. It isn’t a comforting sound.
No one answers from the debris and rubble around him.
Carefully, Tomura pushes himself to his feet, but he staggers when the motions don’t compute correctly from his brain to his limbs. This body feels odd to him; unfitting and incomplete. He knows it’s his – the knowledge comes from somewhere deep inside of him, carved into his soul like his name is – but there’s something wrong with it. Something is missing.
Even though this hollowness is so heavy a burden, he keeps going.

Summary
“Stop, stop, please,” Izuku chokes out through his clenched teeth when he’s done screaming, his voice now nothing more than a hollowed out husk. With adrenaline flooding his veins, he manages to push himself up to his knees and shove himself against the ground, scooting backwards until his back hits a wall and he can breathe heavily with his arm in his lap. He grasps his right shoulder desperately, nails digging in. “Stop, please stop, One for All.”
Written for Kestrel's prompt #6 for fic fight: Bone Blade manifests, similarly to Blackwhip in the middle of a class exercise. Cue body horror and blood.

Summary
“Classes are cancelled,” Aizawa says flatly.
“We... kind of assumed they would be,” Izuku admits sheepishly.
“I can see that,” Aizawa glances in an exaggerated way at their pajamas – Todoroki and Izuku had gone back to their rooms to change into them before heading for the kitchen with Uraraka. They didn't want to wear their stiff and stuffy uniforms for longer than necessary. Izuku even threw on his biggest, softest All Might hoodie for maximum comfort.
“We’re going to have a movie day, sensei!” Uraraka says excitedly.
Written for Ota's prompt #10 for fic fight: 1A are too tense - they have a mandatory relaxation/distraction day/week/class and, of course, chaos ensues.

Summary
Having her in his arms makes Izuku feel better too. It reassures him that she’s here, she’s alive. Eri’s little heartbeat against his chest is pumping warm blood through her body, and Izuku will do anything he has to in order to keep it that way.
“I’m scared, Deku,” Eri says, so softly Izuku almost doesn’t hear it.
He swallows his own fear, drops it down to the base of his spine where it shudders and shakes alone. “Everything will be alright, I’ll keep you safe.”

You know you’re the only person in Musutafu with an explosion quirk, his thoughts viciously remind him. You’ve probably been on a watch list since your quirk manifested. Pinning this on you is a convenient way for them to close this case without looking bad for letting an entire hospital become rubble right under their noses.
He’ll be the most wanted kid in the prefecture by morning. The most wanted kid in the country by the next day.
