Summary
Aizawa Shouta has a soft spot for kids—not that he'd ever admit it. So when he finds a frightened, starving eight-year-old boy wandering the streets at night, he knows that he has to save him. But the kid, who calls himself Deku, isn't going to make it easy for him. Deku is skittish, untrusting, and obviously traumatized, and trusting an adult—even a pro hero—goes against everything the kid has been raised to believe.
As Shouta learns more about Deku, he realizes he can't just let this kid go. But the shadows in Deku's past are thick and dark, and Shouta doesn't know if he has what it takes to scare them away. Still, saving Deku might be the most important thing Shouta has ever done, and he refuses to leave the kid behind—no matter what it takes.

Summary
kayama nemuri is a cat person.
not many people believes her when she says this, seeing as she is a proud owner of the happiest golden retriever to ever exist called hizashi and a retired military trained german shepherd named shouta.
while the two showed their love for their owner very differently, it was still very evident how fiercely they cared. nemuri adores her little family of three with all her heart and wouldn’t change her pups for the world. their family wasn’t large but they had each other and it was enough.
which was why she would never have expected shouta to come back looking so incredibly guilty and flustered with a tiny little shadow trotting in between his paws.
