To celebrate the opening of a new wing to the casino, Q booked out the hotel for a dinner party with his main crew.
Dream watches from an unsafe distance as the Las Nevadas gang poorly hashes out their problems, resulting in one of them getting mysteriously killed. Dream may not care for them, but he doesn't like being blamed for something he didn't do, and takes it upon himself to find the murderer before he finds himself back in Pandora's Vault.

Five deaths of Dream, beloved by the gods.
Dream wins all three of his introduction matches and feels the ever-present anger sizzling in his bones crest like the heat during the noon whiteout. He feels poisonous. Sick with the venom churning in his stomach he wishes he could vomit onto the feet of the southern gods that refuse to come north and free his family.
Chuu, the heavy booming voice of the desert god purrs after every win. Good. Her voice is corrosive and he doesn’t want it. She doesn’t care what he wants.

Summary
There were a lot of things he was having to restrain himself from, kneeling as he was at the Antarctic Emperor’s throne. His hands were shackled in front of him, resting meekly in his lap, and he was only still wearing his battle uniform because the guards hadn’t had a chance to burn it yet.
Honestly, Dream was beginning to want them to. The looks he’d received, being dragged through the palace in full Esempi garb, felt worse than anything Philza could do to him. Then again, he was sure he was about to be proved wrong.
Dream gets captured. Techno, it turns out, has been waiting for this.
