After Dean fights through an infection and an empty visitor's chair, a kind ICU nurse finds Dean's secret sketchbook. Based on the drawings she finds inside, she tries to convince Dean that his father may not have his best interests at heart, and Dean struggles to stick to his usual excuses.

“Peachy.” He bites out at the stranger. A stranger he can now see is a very attractive man wearing a very creepy, ill-fitting trench coat.
“You don’t look peachy.” The stranger replies with narrowed eyes.
“You should get your eyes checked. I’m fine.” Dean tells him, turning his attention to the ground at his feet. There’s a cigarette butt next to his boot. He kicks at it.
The man scoffs, which causes Dean to look back up at him and the guy looks a little darker than he did a moment ago. Stormy.
“I can see things you couldn’t even begin to fathom. I can most assuredly see right through you. You’re not, ‘peachy.’” And this asshole actually uses air quotes around peachy.

Sam leaving the “family business” had honestly been expected: eventually, anyway. It wasn’t like it was his first time stepping away from hunting. But to say the hunter community – hell, even the monster community – was shocked when whispers began to float around that perhaps the most notorious hunter of all time was also getting out would have been a vast understatement. No one could believe it. But, according to the out-of-service message from even Dean’s other, other number, it appeared to be true.
