Summary
As Leon makes the drive to Rhodes Hill Care Center, Sherry reads him information from Grace’s file. The kid works for the FBI, which is hard to imagine since he’s only seen her unconscious and bloody, ragdolled over a giant mutant’s shoulder. Sherry reads off her background info from the FBI’s database- great in the shooting range, near-perfect test scores for most of her life, traumatic incident at the Wrenwood Hotel that killed her mother a few years ago (he notes that for later), born in 2004. The last bit has him hitting the brakes harder than is strictly necessary as he turns into the winding driveway.
“Jesus. What is she, 15? When did the FBI start accepting teenagers?”

Later, it will be obvious that something was wrong.
When Karen and Foggy look back, they won’t quite be able to pinpoint the moment where it all started.
Karen thinks it seems to have begun in the liminal time after his resurrection, before Matt reclaimed his life. Those dark, cold days spent wasting away in a church basement – or maybe even before that, the night he spent bleeding out on a beach.
More likely, Foggy thinks – it started a long time ago, and it just got worse after Midland Circle. It’s hard to be positive.
They’re both right, in their ways. Regardless, whatever it is- it goes unnoticed for far too long.
It’s almost too late by the time they realize that the thing coming to work in Matt’s body is not Matt.
Or: Matt survives Midland circle, and Elektra does not. Her ghost has a problem with that.

Summary
Tim doesn't sleep much, and as a result he hallucinates sometimes. He keeps hallucinating a pair of green eyes in the dark.
At the same time he struggles with his place in the fractured batfamily, and tries chasing the Red Hood, who surely is completely unrelated to these green eyes he keeps seeing... right?cue kidnappings, bad decisions, and a whole lot of food!
a bit angsty, but with a happy ending because i REFUSE to write sad ones. title is from "people got a lotta nerve" by neko case :)
