“Hello,” someone said from behind a small, rickety desk. “Could you maybe not splash water all over our forms?”
The guy was dressed—fittingly—in red scrubs and they were shockingly flattering on him too. He had black hair, a slightly dorky haircut, and very big brown eyes. Freckles were scattered across his nose and cheeks, his lips full and a little pouty. He was, well, pretty. There was no other word for it and pretty wasn’t a word that usually came to mind when Ilya was faced with a guy.
“It's raining.” Ilya gestured vaguely towards the door he just came through.
“Yes, okay, but please don’t shake it everywhere.”
Ilya raised his eyebrows at him. “Do you want my blood or not?”
Or: A uni AU where Shane is Ilya's bi awakening with a side of "who did this to you?"

That is, until Wade gets just a little too pushy and reveals way more than just Peter's mutation.
Or, 5 times someone comes close to figuring out Peter's identity, and 1 time that someone actually does (and Peter is all too happy about it).

It’s a good-looking dog, to be fair. Medium-sized, glossy, bright-eyed. It’s not a bad picture to be sent, he’s just… not quite sure what to do with it.
Then, a moment later, the caption arrives. This is Boris. I think I only go home with people who have dogs now.
Ah. Right. Excellent. This is not, in fact, a picture of a dog. This is an announcement from Ilya that he got laid.
Shane sighs. Wonderful.
Perhaps he'll send back a picture of a dog, since Ilya seems to like them so much.

“Another one of those blind dates J.J. and Hayden keep trying to set you up with?” Ilya snickers. “And who is the lucky girl this time?” He asks, mockingly.
“It's not a girl,” Shane replies.
The hands caressing him stop moving. Shane looks at him, curious as Ilya turns his gaze slowly at Shane, unblinkingly. He seems completely serious, in a way Shane hasn't seen before, not even when they're playing hockey.
“What?” Ilya finally asks.
or...J.J. and Hayden decide their life's mission is to find Shane a girlfriend. When their captain comes out to them, plans change. Ilya Rozanov, his arch-rival and secret casual situationship, is not happy about it.
