Jack Abbot was no stranger to the feeling of knuckles connecting with a mandible. He'd thrown enough punches as an unruly youth to know exactly how hard to jab to do the damage warranted.
Still, as his fist connected with the angled bone of Robby's jaw, a feeling of profound relief spread through his own body. Apparently, he'd been winding up to this for longer than he consciously knew.

Summary
Slade’s laughter rumbles behind him and Dick can feel it vibrating through his chest. “Do you mean to say - all those rooftop chases, all those fights, and you’ve never had anything on under your suit?” Slade sounds unfairly delighted.
Dick sighs but he can kinda see the humour in it. Babs always told him his choices were going to come back and bite him in the ass someday, though he doubts she’d foreseen this specific scenario. “Have you seen my suit? I didn’t want to ruin the lines.” Slade laughs out loud and it’s funny now, but Dick thinks it’s going to be a nightmare on their next rooftop chase - and there will be a next one. He knows better than to think this one night of experimentation is going to change anything about their relationship in the long run.
