Chasing the Storm bonus chapter. Set directly after chapter 45 of Chasing the Storm. The one where Sky wakes up from a blissfully nightmareless sleep to find himself drooling on Pai. And after lots of talk and trauma discussion, Pai proposes to Sky, who says yes, they make out about it, and then Sky remembers that he should tell Rain. Because best friends have certain unalienable rights, and Sky is finally acknowledging those rights. This is Phayu's POV of that morning.

Pakin is a cold boy trying to wrest control of the mafia from his evil father and Graf is a sad boy just trying to figure out how to live again. Also Chai is, as always, the most wholesome and well-adjusted murder boy there is. The weather boys will make an appearance eventually.

And it's way more intense than the series. Also, everyone has trauma because I'm Oprah and everyone gets hit with that trauma stick.

Pai hadn’t had much to drink, he was only on his second glasses of champagne for the night, but suddenly he felt drowsy, his vision swimming like he’d downed a whole bottle by himself. His body felt wrong in a way he didn’t even know how to articulate. He felt hot, immediately reaching for his tie and loosening it. His feet didn’t seem to be under him like they were supposed to be and he stumbled against a pillar, the world shifting around him. Everything was suddenly happening very fast. His limbs felt heavy, too heavy for him to lift, and his head seemed to lull to the side without him being able to do anything about it. Something was wrong. Really really wrong.
His heart raced inside his chest as he tried and failed to right himself.
“There you are,” A voice said against his ear as hands grasped him by the shoulders. “Let’s go somewhere private, hmm?”
Panic was crawling up his throat as he tried to pull away but his body seemed to shut down around him, his limbs refusing to respond the way he told them too, his vision tunneling until everything went black.

Sky’s awareness came to him slowly as he was pulled from his peaceful, dreamless sleep and into a room of… all white. White walls, white ceiling and blinding white light coming from the window. Fluffy white pillows in front of his face and a heavy white comforter draped across his shoulders, a comforter that was much too warm. He went to throw the heavy blanket off of him, twisting as he did so and an involuntary cry left his lips as the movement tugged at his very core, sharp, intense and made his whole body shudder.
“Stop moving,” A voice mumbled against his shoulder, an arm snaking around his waist under the covers and tugging him closer until this man was molded around his back, Sky’s ass nestled snuggled against his hips to ease the pressure of the knot still inside him.

“Sky?!” He gasped into the phone despite the click of disconnection, finality in such a soft, innocuous sound.
He sat in shock, his vision tunneling as he tried to make sense of what just happened. He pressed a shaky thumb to the call button, the phone going straight to voicemail, not even attempting to ring.
He tried again.
And again.
It’s like his brain refused to accept the course of events. If he just kept calling, Sky would pick up, Sky would assure him that everything was fine, that nothing was wrong. Except he could feel it in his bones, could feel it in the way his heart was racing, beating so hard against his chest he was positive it would leave bruises. Everything was not okay. -

Summary
Ask anyone and they’ll tell you a break-up is supposed to end a relationship. In Sky’s case, however, it seems to have kick-started a whole new problem. One involving a petty ex with a talent for revenge, a bartender who definitely wasn’t supposed to be part of this mess, and feelings Sky would really rather not deal with right now.
Sky is newly single and fully committed to staying that way.
