    Anyone who knew Izuku Midoriya would agree that he was a strange individual. Yet, most couldn’t describe why they thought so. He was a seemingly normal kid; played well with others, cried when he got hurt. He was amazing in the classroom and never disrespectful or rude to those around him. Yeah, he was quirkless, but that wasn’t why people thought him to be strange.

    No, it was more a feeling. A gut sense of distrust, of deception. Most shrugged it off. He was a quirkless kid, that was probably why. It meant that he got left out of most friend groups and was bullied heavily. Humans don’t like things they don’t understand.

    And no one could possibly understand the phenomenon that is Izuku Midoriya.

    He’d realized it pretty much as soon as they walked in. But he hadn’t processed it until now.

    Meta abilities were rare. They started with that glowing baby in China and seemed to appear at random all over the world. None of those abilities were like this though. Nobody’s entire body changed like this, let alone a whole group of people changing the same way. That detail alone made it clear that these things could not be human at all. They were alien to Earth itself.

    Shinsou Hitoshi had just been trying to avoid his shitty foster home and now he was caught up in an alien abduction with eight other people. What was going to happen to them?
