Bruce was starting to understand the jokes about him and adopting strays. But it’s not like he ever went looking for kids to adopt. They just sort of… appeared.
Besides, the neighbor boy clearly had no one, and Bruce could not in good conscience let that assassin girl go back to parents who had treated her so badly.
If that meant Bruce adopted two more kids, so be it. It’s not like he didn’t have the room.

Summary
Two men with busy lives somehow make time for each other. One is a grumpy billionaire who kicks the shit out of people at night while dressing up as a flying rat out of a sense of masochistic justice, and the other is an alien with equally questionnable wardrobe choices trying very hard to belong. They meet. They befriend each other. Their families befriend each other. Then what?
Or, I made up my own SuperBat canon timeline out of my favourite narrative choices and now you'll endure a fifteen years long slow burn.

Summary
Having a camera constantly recording a group of boys left in a basement with little to no supervision was not Pledis’ grandest idea.
Whatever staff member had pitched the idea in a marketing meeting had forgotten one crucial detail: said trainees were still teenagers. At the end of the day, they were going to act like boys if left alone for too long.
